soooo, because one of the other managers is on vaycay i had to work the grave shift this week. no complaints, it's what i prefer. but it also means i get the weekend off. but since our week ends on sunday, it also means i get mon and tues off as well (my normal days off). yep, that's right, i get four days off in a row without having to ask for it and to celebrate this fact, i made an impromptu employee get together at a local bar (which the owner comes into our store so we help out his business). after making said plans, my friend texts me from the big island telling me how boring it was for her to be out and about when her friends won't go out on the dance floor. since i was at home, i check plane tickets and i can fly round trip for $89 leaving on sat. i asked her if she wouldn't mind picking me up and she was all for it. so, spur of the moment mini-vaycay to big island but i assured all those invited to the friday night bar party that i would be there, which brings me to my current state of mind. i went to the bar about 9 pm and closed out the bar (2 am). got a ride home and proceeded to go to the after hours club a friend opened (a bout an hour walking from my place). STILL tipsy at this point. i'm sure i was fun to watch. stayed there about an hour and the walked home with a side trip to 7-11 because i was hungry and now i write this to kill the 15 minutes i have before i walk to the mall to catch the bus to the airport. i didn't even take off my mp3 player. and my friend already has a house party for us to go to tonight

the point of this journal? a) i'm still hella tipsy. b) i'm going to have pics to post later. c) to make you jealous
